Year 4 children come to their classrooms independently. If your child is going to be picked up by anyone other than the regular carer you need to inform the class teacher or the office as soon as possible. If the class teacher is unaware of any arrangements they will need to phone parents to confirm what has been agreed. Please make sure the class teacher knows who will be picking up your child to save any problems at the end of the day.
Homework
Year 4 children should be encouraged and supported to read every night. Children will be able to receive Dojo points for reading at home.
Homework will be set on Class Dojo, on a Friday, to be returned by the following Friday. This will be a spelling task based on the spelling rule children have been learning, practicing the termly KIRFs and weekly times tables in Maths in preparation for the Multiplication Check in June.
