Class Routines

Children need their PE Kit in school for their weekly lessons - anyone unwell for a lesson must bring a note.

Cinnamon- Tuesday

Coral- Tuesday

Copper- Tuesday

Milk is availble throughout the day for children to access freely if you have registered with 'CoolMilk' and free fruit/vegetables are available for all to eat.       They should bring their  own water bottles each day, and take home each evening.

Children go to the hall for their dinner at 12.00pm each day. Meals are free for all.

Each week two children from each class will be selected to receive a 'star of the week award' and one child will be selected to be the 'star writer'. All children have the opportunity to gain Dojo certificates when they reach certain milestones.

Curriculum Enrichment

Each term we try to help 'bring the curriculum to life' with an extra activity whether it be a trip, visit or visitor. We appreciate that these additional items often have a cost but they are an essential part of our successful school.

Pick up and Collection

The doors will open at 8.40am to allow a soft start for all the children. School will commence at 8.50 and doors will be closed at 8.55am. If you arrive later than 8.55am you will need to take your child to the front office to be registered.

The school day ends at 3.10pm. Each class will line up outside and the children will be individually sent to the adult picking them up. If a different adult from usual will be collecting your child then you need to write a note in their planner in advance.

Home Learning Packs

Please see the below documents that we have created for a range of subjects to support your child's learning at home.

Year One children should be encouraged and supported to read every night. Also reading a story or non-fiction to your child and asking simple questions can really help.

Phonics homework will be sent out every Friday and collected in the following Thursday.

Maths homework will be sent out every Friday and collected in the following Thursday,

The weekly homework is always linked to what we have been learning in school that week.
