What have we been up to in RAC?

Autumn 2 topic

In RAC this half term our theme 'Under the Sea'. We have made jelly fish to practise our cutting and sticking skills, we have used sequins as fish scales to make patterns, and we have enjoyed exploring our water tray which has been filled with sea creatures and shiny fish with words written on them.

Our role play area this half term is a Police Station where lots of us have enjoyed dressing up as Police people and using props such as handcuffs. In the role play area we have also developed our understanding of technology by  typing on a laptop and using a mouse. The Police Station has also enabled us all to develop our communcation skills through talking and listening to different people, as well as asking and answering questions.

Here are some of the fun phonic activities that we have done in RAC!

The Phase 2 sounds we have learnt are:

Set 1: s, a, t, p

Set 2: i, n, m, d

 Set 3: g, o, c, k

Set 4: ck, e ,u, r

Set 5: h, b, l, f

Set 6: ss, ll, ff
